Day 1: Welcome & Intentions – Set goals, explore yoga’s ethical pillars, and start your journaling practice.
Day 2: Core Values & Reflection – Identify what matters most and align your yoga practice with your values.
Day 3: Gentle Movement & Breath – Connect breath with movement in a beginner-friendly yoga flow.
 Day 4: Value-Aligned Goals – Set a meaningful goal and create a plan to stay consistent.
 Day 5: The Power of Tadasana – Learn the foundational pose that shapes every yoga practice.
 Day 6: Introduction to the Yamas – Apply yoga’s ethical principles to your life and mindset.
 Day 7: Reflect & Realign – Celebrate progress and prepare for a deeper Week 2.

Week 2: Build Strength & Align

 Day 8: Sun Salutation A – Flow through a foundational yoga sequence.
 Day 9: The Niyamas – Discover how self-discipline fuels growth and confidence.
 Day 10: Sun Salutation B – Build strength and integrate both Sun Salutations.
 Day 11: Realign & Reassess – Reflect on your progress and write a letter to your future self.
 Day 12: Personal Practice – Learn how to create a sustainable routine.

Meet your teachers for the We Be Yoga Starter Kit, Heather Petrosky E-RYT 500, YACEP, and Hallie Duffy E-RYT 500, YACEP—on a mission to make yoga accessible, effective, and actually work for you.

Heather, the Owner & CEO of We Be Yoga and We Be Yoga School,  built this program to strip away the confusion and help you start strong with a practice that fits your life. With years of experience training teachers and students alike, she’s here to give you the tools to move forward with confidence.

Hallie, We Be Yoga's Studio Director brings her passion for movement, anatomy, and making yoga approachable for everyone. She’ll break down key concepts so you feel supported every step of the way.

Together, they’ve designed a 14-day journey that gives you the foundation, knowledge, and momentum to create a practice that actually works—for you.

You will leave this course feeling confident, prepared and ready to take your yoga journey in any direction you want whether it is going on a yoga reatreat, starting a regular practice at a studio, or signing up for a teacher training!

Who is this course for?

This course is designed for beginners, anyone returning to yoga after a break, or anyone who wants a refresher course! If you've ever felt lost in a yoga class, struggled to stay consistent, or wanted to understand yoga beyond just the poses, this is for you.

Do I need to be flexible to do this course?

No! Yoga is about meeting yourself where you are. This course will help you build strength, mobility, and confidence over time—no experience or flexibility required.

How much time do I need each day?

Plan for about 30 minutes per day:

  • 5 minutes of guided meditation and journaling

  • 25 minutes of yoga foundations, movement, or reflection

  • You can take extra classes and hang out with us longer is you want! 

What if I miss a day?

No worries! You can move at your own pace. The course is designed to be flexible, so you can catch up or spread it out if needed. You will have full access to everyday of the course as soon as you sign up! 

What do I need to get started?

A yoga mat, a notebook or journal, and an open mind. If you have yoga blocks or a strap, they can be helpful, but they’re not required. You can also use props around your house like pillows or books to help you. 

Is this live or pre-recorded?

The course is completely self-paced with pre-recorded videos, guided meditations, and written lessons. You can start anytime and go at your own speed.

Do I need special software to access the course?

Nope! Everything is hosted online through our We Be Yoga Course Portal, which you can access from your phone, tablet, or computer. 

Will I have lifetime access?

Yes! Once you enroll, you’ll have unlimited access to the course materials, so you can revisit them anytime and revisit induvidual parts or re-take the entire course as many times as you like! 

Are there refunds?

Due to the digital nature of the course, refunds are not available. However, if you have any issues, reach out to us, and we’ll do our best to help. 

What happens after I sign up?

After signing up, you’ll get immediate access to the full 14-day program, including video lessons, meditations, and the yoga class library. Under where you log into the website you will navigate to "My Programs" on the website, or "Online Programs" on our app! 

Can I take this course if I already do yoga?

Yes! This course helps refine your understanding of yoga foundations, deepen your connection to breath and movement, and bring more mindfulness into your practice—whether you’re new or experienced.

What makes this different from other beginner yoga programs?

Most beginner programs focus only on poses, or give you an introduction to only one small part of yoga. The We Be Yoga Starter Kit gives you a unique approach, combining movement, meditation, breathwork, philosophy, traditions, and journaling to help you build a yoga practice that actually works for you—physically and mentally. We've built it in a way that will help you be confident to more forward not just giving you a bunch or information you that cant apply in real time.
